We are at War!!!
We are at war....
In todays society everyone and everything is fast paced. Patience has become a long lost virtue and that is not excluding our own political processes. The fact if the matter is quite clear, we are at a critical time in history that puts all of our freedoms at risk.
We are at the threshold of a bright future and the brink of self destruction. We are at war! The war is not a distant enemy from a far away land. The enemy doesnt wear a uniform or fly their flag. The enemy was born and elected into power by you....and by me. There is a very select few who fight for you and I in our elected positions of power. For many, they use their own personal agenda to push their ideals of a country feared of their government. These elected officials use our lives, our rights and liberty as pawns in an elaborate chess game where one side of the board is untouchable and not a single piece can be lost, while you and I fight from the other side of the board, and we lose peices every day.
The battle is about freedom. Your right's and liberties and how they move to make the constitution extinct. A figment of our imagination where we are mindless souls who do the king and queens bidding.
The odds are stacked against us. They try to take our religion, our guns, our speech, our power to fight against them. Those in power are afraid of what you...and I will do. That fear is not of rising up against them. That is expected. What they fear most is that we take their power away. Just as our forefathers did to King George and all of his almighty military in 1776. This war cannot be won from sitting on the sidelines of ignorance, but on the front lines of intelligence. You must open your eyes and see the danger and the risks we all face if we do not stop the maddness from the beasts within our halls of Congress and the White House.
Our war, is that of self preservation. Our fight is to ensure the longevity and the freedoms our working constitution guarantees. Will you join the fight? Will you give the power back to the people? Will you rise as a patriot in casting these demons aside and electing new representation..... of the people....for the people.... By you...and I... The people of these United States of America..... Or will you watch from the sidelines as you freedom slips away into the dark of night like that of a child falling asleep.....and awaking in a new nightmare?

Minimum wage.
It is a revolution that is starting in the fast food industry but it is truly a fight for everyone on the poverty line. Minimum wage is supposed to be a buffer for all of those to be able to have a living wage and afford all the basic necessities deemed by society and surviva...l. Such as housing, transportation, food, healthcare, education etc. How can anyone afford to pay the cost for these items on an $8 hr minimum wage. It should be the responsibility of the employer in every way, to pay a living wage. It should be a part of our bill of rights to have fair, livable wages to stay above the poverty level, especially to pay for all the things we have to pay for and provide for our families as well.
Without a living wage, you have more people dependent on welfare and other programs to be able just to get by. People who disagree with a living wage are usually the people who complain about people and families being on public assistance and usually are the ones who live above the poverty level and always argue that prices of services and products must rise as well. This is a false ideal. Lets say for arguments sake that a company is making $10 million a year in clear profit. You are going to tell me if the pay there employees a raise in wages that *(for sake of argument) another $2 million in wage increases, that this company still isn't profitable? That is the argument made, that to keep profit margins high, they have to raise prices, when this simple example shows they can keep costs low, pay a living wage, and still be a profitable company with even more potential growth from happier employees, especially in retail where customer service depends so much on whether a person buys something they want vs what they need.
Any good company re-invests in itself to become better by good wages and good products/services. A happy employee makes a happy company which will always increase your business and your bottom line in the end.
On top of it all, the economy will grow rapidly after a recovery. The housing market can boom again all because people have a little extra money in their pocket to spend and live a little.
My bottom line is that minimum wage doesn't have to be $15 an hour, but it deserves raised to an appropriate level with a guaranteed annual cost of living raise to help the #AverageJoe.

Dear American Citizen,
Dear American citizen,
I have been reaching out to you, asking for your support as a candidate for President of the United States. I am well aware of the uphill battle that lies ahead and it is not an easy journey for an "average Joe" from the main streets of the greatest nation on this Earth, the United States of America.
President George Washington once said : "The hour is fast approaching, on which the Honor and Success of this army, and the safety of our bleeding Country depend. Remember officers and Soldiers, that you are free men, fighting for the blessings of Liberty -- that slavery will be your portion, and that of your posterity, if you do not acquit yourselves like men."
We know his reference was to the revolutionary war, although I believe these words ring true more now than ever when it comes to the situation our nation is in on this day, in this year, over 200 years later. We are faced with so much adversity on a daily basis that we must unite, as a nation. Not of party or affiliation, but of one country, one nation, free, so that we can once again rise above the tyranny that we face now in our country, from our own government. It is with great pride that I as an American citizen born free have had the life of a common man. I have faced obstacles that none should ever have, while having the wealth of family, and health and a life above the quality of many, while still being beneath the floor of poverty.
It is with great duty of each and every one of us that love this nation, to do our responsibility outlined in our Constitution to protect freedom and stand against those who dare to attack our nation foreign or domestic. From Terrorists, Liberals, Democrats, Republicans, dictators, and demons who threaten our Sovereignty and freedoms. I ask that you place aside any misconception and look not at the man, but the life that we all deserve and truly ask yourselves, are we truly free?
With your support, we can unite this nation. We can restore it's glory where the American dream is alive and well. Where our economy can grow. Where jobs are plentiful. Where you can worship God in public without fear of reprimand or retaliation. Where you can say the Pledge of Allegiance in our schools or recite a historical speech without having to be "politically correct". The foundation of this country was built on freedom of religion and should not be discriminated.
With your support, we can simplify our laws, and our government. We can give power back to the states while still having a federal government that is in charge, but not overreaching the constitution and the states ability to govern themselves. Most importantly with your support, we can be free once again.
Thank you for your time and consideration, and together we can restore our nation to glory and respect that it deserves.

Concerned Citizen

Greg Pollitt, I'm interested, however would like to know more about your thoughts. The middle class is shrinking while the wealthy and big busine...ss make more and more. The cards seem to be stacked against the average Joe and just supporting a family becomes more and more difficult. How do you plan to make a difference? We say we are the greatest nation in the world, yet we have children who go to bed hungry, people who sleep on the streets, elderly who choose between eating and taking their medication and millions who don't have health care. S, I am interested in making this great country better and would welcome your thoughts."
My response:
"One if the biggest issues we need to control, is foreign aid. I am all for helping countries that are in need where starvation and malnutrition hits approximately 75% of its citizens such as many African countries. The problem is something we have as human beings to combat and no man, woman or child should ever go to bed hungry. So as a nation, we need to reign in foreign aid to a minimum. We should not be buying friendship by paying them billions of tax dollars to train or harbor terrorist. I want to use those billions of dollars right here in our country. I would like to see everyone with a job. That is why I would like to see the unemployment office, become the employment office. By using existing tax dollars saved from paying foreign aide we can distribute a lot of that money to state and local governments to accomplish many issues such as rehabbing neighborhoods, infrastructure building or repair so on and so forth that create jobs. So with the revamped "employment bureau" if you lose your job you could work for state and local communities to earn a paycheck as well as draw your unemployment benefits as a way of prevention of many people falling back on the welfare system as possible with a temporary job or permanent if you so choose. Many families who when one person looses a job fall back to the welfare system for help, and that is what it is there for. These positions created by the communities some would be part time but there should be many new full time positions as well. These jobs would be a way of putting pride back in the communities as well as paying for operating existing programs and creating new ones to re-invest in our cities. Making better neighborhoods helps in appearance, helps reduce crime, creates many new jobs for police, fire, ems and gives you a chance to work and earn a living while still looking for a new job.
I would like to see business get a tax incentives to create (x) amount of jobs per year here in the United States and taxed high rates if they ship jobs overseas. I think with many big companies job creation should be mandated based on percentage of growth. This will provide many new jobs across the country, which will open the door for better competition in the job market as well as drastically reduce the employment rate. New jobs doesn't come with just that simplistic approach, but we must have living wage pay increased so that you can actually afford the necessities you need to put food on your table, clothes on your back, provided for your family, pay for health insurance, and finally have a dew dollars extra to spend that grows our economy. All of these pieces in place will grow the middle class, drastically reduce our poverty level. Reduce families and kids going hungry or homeless and get America on track where we should have been 30 yrs. ago to finally be that great nation we call ourselves. By saving many of the billions of dollars spent on foreign aid, this can all be achieved with a huge re-investment back in our country and this is just the beginning of my version of a new, "New Deal" .

This problem is solely on the President. The President forced this down our throats when he rammed the Affordable Healthcare Act (aka Obamacare) through his first term with a Democratic majority controlled congress. It has been a fight on that issue for nearly 3 years, no one wants it and we can already see employers laying off full and part time positions and many reducing the quality of Healthcare that they continue to offer their employees or dropping family members for their coverage’s. So yes he should have expected a fight on this matter especially its unconstitutionality by excluding himself and his family along with members of Congress from the law which is illegal according to our Constitution.
The last straw should have been him agreeing to the terms that the House sent over and that was including a first year exclusion from a fine that many big businesses have and to withdraw the exclusions for politicians and have them enrolled in the same healthcare plan.
What needs to be done is have Healthcare providers re-write their policies and use Auto Insurance as a model if the wish to mandate that everyone has healthcare insurance with similar premiums. That model is mandatory for drivers, and affordable for everyone except those who have broken the law by speeding tickets or accidents. You cannot have rising premiums for an individual that eats a double cheeseburger vs. a person who eats a veggie burger. It would need to be flat rate across the board and have no, restrictions or pre-exemptions of any kind and affordable for everyone and not controlled by the government at all.
This unfortunately isn’t a one sided party created issue. “We the people” have allowed it to grow after we created it. Let’s change that! No more party affiliation, its time we were simply Americans who love and care for our countries future!
It’s time we make a stand against the tyranny that we have let overtake our government. It’s time the voice of the people elects a person of the people to make some real changes.

Syria
I agree 100%, that no nation should ever be allowed to use chemical weapons on anyone in peace, or at war. I propose that as the leader in the Free World we push for the enforcement in ban and usage of chemical weapons and allow the United Nations inspection teams to randomly inspect every nation including ...our own to ensure the destruction of these types of weapons. "THERE IS NO ROOM IN WAREFARE FOR CHEMICAL WEAPONS".
When I was growing up and got in to many scuffles in and out of school, my grandfather taught me that if you get into a fight what ever the reason, right or wrong, you fight with every inch of your soul to defend yourself and others. He also taught me that even if you lose that fight, you always fight fair. So in that I am saying if you cant win with traditional warfare and have to resort to chemical weapons attacks, are you any better than your opposition?
I propose that Mr. President continue to pursue international support and action by the United Nations . If and only if no one will step up to the table, that we do take forms of action to prevent any further usages of chemical weapons, and capture those responsible to be held in world court and prosecuted of their crimes, even if we must go to war.
We must force the United Nations to do the job of enforcing international law. I believe with enough pressure and diplomatic procedures that our involvement in another war can be prevented as long as the United Nations and international support condemns this action and stands up against this tyrannical and disgusting attack on its people.
Living Wage
The hardest factor on o...ur economic situation has been gas and oil prices. What used to cost me to fill my truck was $25-30 now is $75-90 which is beyond insane. This caused manufacturing, shipping and transportation jobs to raise their costs but yet you and I do not get a raise in pay to help offset these and leaves us with less money to buy the more expensive groceries and other goods. This one factor if rise in oil prices has single handedly created the recession we are in. The housing market dropped, employers cut jobs, all of this because oil companies have us right where they want us....putting money in their bank accounts while almost each quarter many oil companies are posting record profits. It has also caused for the first time in history for a war to not stimulate an economy which through war debts etc would normally reduce our national debt.
These factors are why our country is hurting economicaly and making it so hard for the "AverageJoe" to make a living and support their families and forcing many to seek help through public assistance which has added to the increase of our national debt.
How no one in Washington D.C. can see this is crazy. That is why I have been an advocate to raise minimum wage federally to at least $10 per hour but I'm definitely on board for supporting legislation that raises the minimum wage to $15 per hour. Now people will say that for example your dollar menu items will go away and a double cheeseburger will now be $4.. This isnt necessarily true. Yes it will cut into companies profits at the beginning. The after effects is where they will make it back up and here's why.
Now that you earn a living wage, you are happier, you tend to care more about your job and the effort you put in and consumers notice this. If they have a more enjoyable time at your restaurant or retail establishment, they are more likely to return and through cause and effect spend more money because they also have more money and can afford to purchase maybe something other than a necessity.
This is why I want to raise minimum wages. This is why I want to force a fight for alternative energy to produce hydrogen and electric hybrid vehicles and eliminate ourselves from the forced rape by the oils companies have on our families and our country. This is why you and I need to stand together and make the American people's voice be heard loud and clear that "We the people " come first and shoul be supported before anyone else. This is why I am your candidate to be the "AverageJoe4President2016" and how we take back our country.
American Dream?
Once upon a time, there was a country that was the brightest beacon of freedom in the world. It was free from oppression, you had a guaranteed set of rights that were not to ever be infringed upon and one a single person in the family could be the provider and quality family time was valued above all else. Then came t...he second revolution where things became unraveled.
Now it takes both members if the family to be the provider and in many cases they have to have more than one job just to accomplish that. The American family values have been list to those who are the worker ants. The peasants to the industrialized big business "kings" have to give up many family events even on holidays because big business has seemed to deem it necessary that only the elite can enjoy family time because you and I have to work to make their dream a reality. The initiative of family values are long but gone and that dream has long since died.
I propose legislation that would force businesses to pay living wages with an annual cost of living increase in pay on top of performance based reviews to also gain raises in pay. The legislation would also prevent businesses from working on federal holidays excluding medical facilities and police and emergency crews . These services are in much need and very difficult to reduce their valued efforts to protect and save lives. I would strongly encourage these services to reduce as much time served on these holidays so that each person can work but shifts be limited on duration so everyone has family time. Its time we enjoy family life again.

Our future
I always thought of our government to be like an old story I was told as a child about a King. The King was called to power by the people of a village to defend against an evil empire. Though humbled, the King looked at this with great responsibility and with all the wealth his fellow men gave him as king, he always have back. He would buy cattle and seed for farmers to grow for food. He would buy food from the farmers to help with the poorest of the poor. The people respected him and fought beside him with pride and honor.
This fairytale is how I envisioned our government not as a King, but a government that was elected from pride an honor. Leaders who with all their wealth who would give back to the people who supported them. Leaders who take care of their people before themselves and make our country greater than ever.
That is why we must stop foreign aid to countries that grow terrorism and offer only assistance to those who need it, but not at am expense to our own people. Our eleted officials must have a greater sense of its own people and country before they could ever expand democracy and promote freedom to the world.

Healthcare revision
After some discussion and reflection through private parties and those through social media via debates on parts of my Presidential Platform, I have come to a realization that just maybe a government provided health care may not be the last resort or the best "fix all" to a low cost affordable, health care policy that protects you when you need it most. Here is a revision or an alternative to my pre-posted platform policy on Health care.
I am open to competition that keeps the heath care policies prices low. Just like a full coverage car insurance plan that covers everything after your deductable, so should healthcare. If you have an insurance policy then it should cover you 100% and no questions about it. My vision of a true health insurance plan sought out by an individual or family or one that is provided by our government is one that offers complete coverage. A government provided program (i.e. welfare program) offers this type of ability with some companies enforcing policies such as what can or can’t be used or during a dental or DR’s visit. These exceptions are unacceptable.
On your personal policy, you would pay a low cost established co-pay that deducts from your policies deductable (i.e. $500) and all medical services are covered with no “RED TAPE” or exclusions. You should not have to worry about whether or not you have coverage to visit the Dr’s office or hospitals etc to preserve and extend your life. If you have a common cold, or AIDS, or in need of an organ transplant you should not be screened or financially profiled on your ability to afford life.
I am firmly against high prices, any type of “REDTAPE” or exclusion provisions in any type of Healthcare policy. This needs to be a focus of everyone and I believe everyone should have insurance; it should not be mandatory or provisional like the current Affordable Health Care Act (aka ObamaCare). You should have a choice and it be an affordable choice.

Now with this incident you will have the people on the left and right begin arguing once again about gun control. Let me make it clear one last time, evil exists in the human heart, not in cold hard steel, aluminum, plastic or composite components that make up a firearm. It has no ill will toward anyone and in the hands of someone honorable it is a aid in protection and in the hands of evil it carries out the deeds of impurity of one heart and mind. The gun control debate ended in 1791 when it was ratified as part of our bill of rights in the constitution of the United States. Taking guns away will only harm the people who want to defend themselves or recreational purposes. In case you people way out there on the left who want to ban every gun on the planet weren't aware, criminals do not obey the law. They will still obtain weapons and use them to hurt the innocent. The right to defend ourselves,our families and our property is guaranteed. How about we enforce laws that actually would prevent criminals from getting an opportunity to harm someone. Start enforcing current laws before you write new ones that hurt everyone because you are a poor leader.
